Job summary

Daiichi Properties, Inc. is seeking a Junior Corporate Legal Counsel for Litigation and Contract Management in Taguig (onsite). The role focuses on managing litigation and negotiating commercial contracts across the business.

You will handle land acquisition due diligence and title transfers, support AMLA compliance, and coordinate with external counsels. This is a full-time position requiring five years of relevant experience and bar membership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law (JD or LLB) and licensed to practice in the Philippines.
• Minimum 5 years of combined experience from a law firm and in-house counsel in real estate.
• Active Philippine Bar membership in good standing.
• Knowledge of land acquisition and title transfer processes.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Willing to report to the office and travel to project locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans for managing current and anticipated litigation and disputes.
• Coordinate with external counsels and manage law-firm relationships for cost-effective representation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate lease, NDA and other contracts; ensure plain-language, enforceability.
• Oversee land acquisition due diligence and prepare deeds and title transfer documents.
• Assist in AML compliance program development, reporting and investigations.
• Participate in special projects and travel to project sites as required.
