Job summary

Booth & Partners seeks a Job Cost Accountant to oversee day-to-day financial management across ongoing projects. You will maintain internal controls, track real estate financials, and deliver property-level reporting.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, researching vendor statements, and supporting the Job Cost Manager with controls and reporting. Growth duties cover month-end close and budget variance analysis.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in construction or real estate accounting/financial management.
• High attention to detail with an outgoing, proactive mindset.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across digital tools (Zoom, Teams, chat).

Responsibilities

• Code, route, sort, and file invoices and loan draw packets.
• Research vendor statements and historical payment records.
• Execute routine data entry, financial tracking, and reconciliation.
• Process and track change orders for vendors, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Assist the Job Cost Manager with operational procedures, controls, and reporting requirements.
• Complete month-end close, bank reconciliations, and financial statement analysis for assigned projects.
• Generate budget variance reports and historical/YTD performance comparisons.
• Independently resolve routine operational issues and manage special projects.
