Job summary

Optum is seeking a senior leader to drive multiple Financial Clearance teams within the Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management space. This on-site role focuses on achieving operational, financial, and client objectives while managing supervisors, SMEs, and frontline leaders.

You will oversee insurance verification, prior authorization, and patient access operations, while mentoring talent and leading continuous improvement projects to elevate productivity and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) or healthcare account experience.
• Minimum 3 years of operations leadership experience.
• Proven experience managing Supervisors, SMEs, and multiple operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple Financial Clearance teams to achieve operational, financial, and client objectives.
• Manage Supervisors, SMEs, and frontline leaders to ensure high team performance and accountability.
• Drive operational excellence through workforce planning, performance management, and process optimization.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for operational discussions and escalations.
• Oversee Financial Clearance functions including insurance verification, prior authorization, and patient access operations.
