Job summary

SPD Jobs, Inc. is seeking a Wireless Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability of a mobile network's radio infrastructure across 2G/3G/4G/5G. You will monitor RAN health, analyze alarms, and coordinate field maintenance to meet SLAs.

The role requires a degree in electrical or electronics engineering, strong GSM/UMTS/LTE/5G NR knowledge, experience with Huawei RAN, and proficiency with NMS and MS Office. Excellent English communication and teamwork are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of GSM, UMTS, LTE, and 5G NR.
• Familiarity with Huawei RAN equipment
• Experience with Network Management Systems (NMS) and alarm monitoring tools.
• Ability to analyze KPIs and perform root cause analysis.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English language.
• At least with 3-5 year working experience in Telecommunications handling Wireless Access Network and Digital Energy.
• Savvy in Microsoft Office platform, especially in Excel and Power Point
• Can work in multicultural environment and also can work under pressure with less supervision.
• Team player, flexible and responsive to changing work patterns and demands.
• Must possess strong analytical skills and result oriented.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and performance of the RAN using Network Management Systems (NMS).
• Analyze and troubleshoot network alarms, outages, and performance degradation.
• Perform remote fault isolation and coordinate with field engineers for onsite restoration.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of base stations (BTS/eNodeB/gNodeB), Remote Radio Units (RRUs), antennas, feeders, and transmission equipment.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Transmission, Core Network, Power and Field Operations to resolve incidents.
• Support software upgrades, configuration changes, and network integration activities.
• Prepare technical reports, root cause analyses (RCA), and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational standards during maintenance activities
• Participate in on-call and shift operations to support 24/7 network availability.
