Job summary

Globe Telecom, Inc. seeks a RAN Solutions Engineer to shape the evolution of Globe’s Radio Access Network. The role bridges cutting-edge technology with practical, cost-effective deployments, driving feasibility studies and defining engineering standards for new sites and expansions.

The engineer will define KPIs, evaluate new technologies, and ensure alignment with Globe’s strategic vision and external stakeholder execution while advancing the Green RAN initiative.

Qualifications

• Experience in RAN architecture and network evolution is preferred.
• Familiarity with vendor solutions from Huawei, Ericsson and other third-party vendors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive development and feasibility studies for new RAN solutions and strategies from Huawei, Ericsson and other vendors.
• Craft and maintain engineering guidelines for RAN domains, including new sites and expansion projects.
• Introduce innovation-specific KPIs to measure the impact of new technologies and processes.
• Evaluate cutting-edge technologies for outdoor coverage and align with Globe's mobile strategy.
• Lead assessments of emerging use cases for mobile/wireless services in global markets.
• Establish an accountability framework for guideline adoption and audit RAN hardware and capabilities for power optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
