Job summary

SMC MRT-7 O&M Corporation is seeking a qualified Signaling Technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of signaling systems for MRT7. You will patrol and inspect CT C and wayside equipment, conduct preventive maintenance, and aid in repairs to ensure reliability and availability of signaling infrastructure.

The role requires 1–3 years in a related maintenance field, with NC II certification and relevant technical education. Assignment is at MRT-7 Depot, Quezon City, Philippines.

Qualifications

• Diploma in technology-related fields or equivalent
• NC II Certification preferred
• 1–3 years in a signaling or maintenance role

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection of CT C and wayside signaling equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance on signaling systems and SERs
• Execute overhaul/maintenance on electric switch machines and signaling devices
• Unscheduled maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
• Act as first responder for signaling failures during operations
• Support testing and basic PCB repairs for signaling sub-assemblies
• Assist in identifying spare parts and procurement specifications
