Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-ray and other examinations within the scope of practice.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the examination process.
Operate and properly maintain radiologic equipment.
Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Apply appropriate radiation protection measures for patients, staff, and visitors.
Verify patient identification, examination requests, and relevant clinical information before procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records, imaging reports, and examination documentation.
Monitor patients during procedures and provide appropriate assistance when needed.
Follow hospital policies, department protocols, and applicable radiation safety regulations.
Perform routine quality control checks and report equipment problems or abnormalities.
Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the radiology area and equipment.
Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient examinations.
Assist during emergency and portable imaging procedures when required.
