The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role ensures high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and radiation protection standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic imaging procedures such as X-ray and related diagnostic exams
• Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging procedures
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensure proper radiation safety and protection for patients and staff
• Review images for quality and accuracy before submission to the physician
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Follow infection control, safety protocols, and clinic policies
• Assist in explaining procedures to patients to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding imaging results
• Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of the radiology area and equipment

Qualifications and Requirements
