Patient Preparation and Positioning:
- Preparing patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and answering questions.
- Positioning patients accurately to obtain clear and precise images.
- Ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures.
Operating Imaging Equipment:
- Operating a variety of imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI machines
- Adjusting equipment settings to optimize image quality.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting imaging equipment.
Radiation Safety:
- Adhering to strict radiation safety protocols to minimize patient and personal exposure.
- Using protective devices, such as lead aprons and shields.
- Monitoring and documenting radiation levels.
Image Production and Evaluation:
- Producing high-quality diagnostic images.
- Evaluating images for clarity and accuracy.
- Maintaining accurate patient records.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Working closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Communicating effectively with patients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns.
- Maintaining clear and concise documentation.
- Responsible for coordination with the head of the clinic, radiologist and other section chief to properly execute the x-ray section’s goals and targets
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of clinical experience.
- Skills and Competencies: Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist; proficient in imaging technology and patient care. With Radiologic Protection Officer Certificate preferred
