Davao Doctors Hospital invites a Licensed Radiologic Technologist to join its Cath Lab and interventional imaging team. The role involves operating C-arm and fluoroscopy, preparing patients, and assisting physicians during procedures.
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's in Radiologic Technology, be PRC-licensed, and be willing to work on-call, weekends, and extended hours as required. On-site work in Davao City, Philippines.
Operate and optimize C-arm and fluoroscopy equipment for angiography and other diagnostic/interventional procedures.
Review physician orders and patient records and prepare patients for scheduled procedures.
Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide appropriate assistance throughout the procedure.
Select appropriate imaging parameters, including exposure factors, to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Prepare and operate contrast media injectors and other required imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols.
Assist physicians/interventionists during diagnostic and invasive procedures.
Perform intraoperative imaging procedures, including retrograde pyelography, cholangiography, and brachytherapy-related imaging, as assigned.
Ensure proper preparation, availability, and monitoring of contrast media, imaging supplies, and Cath Lab/OR equipment.
Apply radiation safety, infection control, quality assurance, and hospital policies and procedures at all times.
Monitor the condition and functionality of radiologic equipment and coordinate preventive/corrective maintenance with Biomedical Engineering.
Maintain and monitor radiation protection devices such as lead aprons, thyroid shields, leaded eyewear, and dosimeters.
Complete required documentation, case records, census, inventory, and reports accurately and on time.
Perform post-procedure equipment and room checks and ensure proper turnover for the next case.
Participate in departmental meetings, continuing education, required training, and clinical activities.
Participate in on-call duties for urgent or emergency procedures, as assigned.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Unit Manager.
Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
Licensed Radiologic Technologist (PRC) in the Philippines.
Experience in Cath Lab, interventional radiology, operating room, or fluoroscopy is an advantage.
Knowledge of radiation safety, contrast media administration, and fluoroscopic procedures.
Good communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and patient-care skills.
Willing to work on-call, weekends, holidays, and extended hours when required.
