Job summary

LIME Hotels and Resorts Philippines is seeking a skilled RAC technician to install, maintain and repair refrigeration and air-conditioning systems across the hotel, ensuring safe, efficient operation in line with hotel standards and prompt response to guest room HVAC concerns.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, check compressors and electrical components, keep maintenance records, and follow safety and energy conservation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience with installation and servicing of refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of safety, energy conservation, and hotel maintenance standards.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment.

About the role

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of refrigeration and air-conditioning (RAC) systems in the hotel. Ensures that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in accordance with hotel standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems
• Check and maintain compressors, motors, electrical components, and refrigerant systems
• Respond promptly to guest room and operational HVAC-related concerns
• Ensure proper handling and storage of tools, equipment, and refrigerants
• Maintain maintenance records and report major issues to the Engineering Supervisor
• Follow safety, energy conservation, and hotel maintenance standards
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Engineering Department
