Job summary

Crown Regency Hotels & Resorts in Cebu City is seeking a Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning (RAC) Technician responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the hotel's RAC systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Key duties include preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC equipment, troubleshooting of split-type and centralized systems, checking refrigerants and electrical components, and assisting with new RAC installations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning (RAC), Mechanical Technology, or a related technical course.
• TESDA NC II in RAC Servicing is preferred.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in air-conditioning and refrigeration maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, refrigerants, and troubleshooting.
• Hotel, resort, commercial building, or facilities experience is an advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of performing technical and maintenance work.
• Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and emergency call-outs when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair split-type, package, centralized, and other HVAC systems.
• Check refrigerant levels, electrical components, compressors, motors, filters, and controls.
• Conduct cleaning and servicing of air-conditioning units and refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose equipment problems and perform necessary repairs.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new RAC equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and report issues to the Engineering Supervisor.
• Maintain proper records of inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Respond to emergency air-conditioning and refrigeration breakdowns.
• Follow safety, environmental, and company procedures at all times.
