Role Description

The R2R Manager is responsible for overseeing the Record-to-Report process, ensuring accurate and timely financial accounting, reporting, and compliance. This full-time, on-site role based in Metro Manila involves managing general ledger activities, month-end and year-end closing, account reconciliations, and the preparation of financial statements and management reports. The R2R Manager leads process improvements, enforces internal controls, and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and cross-functional teams. The role also includes supervising R2R staff, providing guidance on accounting policies, resolving complex accounting issues, and supporting strategic decision-making with reliable financial data.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in financial accounting and reporting, including general ledger management, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
• Experience in Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, month-end and year-end closing, and implementation of internal controls and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Proficiency in ERP and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar), as well as solid skills in Excel and other financial analysis tools.
• Demonstrated people management skills, including team leadership, performance supervision, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is highly preferred.
• Experience in shipping, logistics, or a similar asset-intensive industry is an advantage, as well as familiarity with Philippine regulatory and tax requirements.
