Job summary

Anthesis Group is seeking a Senior Record to Report Accountant to manage end-to-end R2R activities in our Finance Shared Service Centre. You will ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and guide junior team members while staying hands-on in a global close environment.

The role supports month-, quarter-, and year-end closes, collaborates with Local Finance and external auditors, and drives automation and standardization across the group. Hybrid work arrangement with one onsite day weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, or Accountancy.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience in R2R; supervisory experience is an advantage.
• CPA is preferred but not mandatory; experience in Global Business Services/Shared Services is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel, SharePoint and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Xero and NetSuite.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup with 1 day onsite per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute month-end closing activities with timely, accurate results according to the global calendar.
• Perform bank reconciliations and clear reconciling items daily.
• Review and post complex journal entries and support intercompany postings.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations with supporting documentation.
• Provide coaching to junior R2R members and assist with audits and control improvements.
• Support standardization initiatives across Anthesis Group.

Description

The Senior Specialist, R2R Service Delivery is responsible for executing end-to-end Record-to-Report activities for Anthesis Finance Shared Service Centre, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting. The role supports the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process in line with group reporting timelines and internal control requirements. Must guide junior team members while remaining hands‑on. The role collaborates closely with Local Finance, FP&A, Group Finance, and external auditors to resolve issues, analyze variances, and strengthen the overall financial close governance cadence. As part of the Global Finance Shared Services team, the Senior Specialist, R2R Service Delivery delivers high‑quality accounting operations and contributes to a performance‑driven close environment. The role ensures integrity of the general ledger, supports standardized close processes, and drives automation and efficiency initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute month-end closing activities and ensure all activities are completed timely and accurately based on the global calendar/timeline and in accordance with agreed SLA
• Perform Bank Reconciliation and clear reconciling items daily.
• Review and post complex journal entries (accruals, prepayment, and other adjustments if any)
• Support Intercompany postings and help resolve mismatches.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations with proper supporting documentation
• Handle more complex accounting matters and provide guidance when needed
• Provide support and coaching to junior R2R members
• Assist with audit requirements and queries for covered markets/entities and identify control gaps and recommend practical improvements
• Support standardization initiatives across Anthesis Group.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, and Accountancy (CPA preferred but not mandatory)
• 4–7 years of relevant experience in R2R and supervisory experience a definite advantage
• Experience in process migration/transition is a plus
• Exposure in Global Business Services/BPO/Shared Services environment is an advantage
• Proficient in Excel, Microsoft SharePoint and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Xero & NetSuite
• Works with a sense of urgency and sensitivity to last‑minute highly critical business requests
• Must be open to a hybrid work arrangement: 1 day onsite per week in Ortigas office
