Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced R2R Director based in Makati, Philippines, to lead end-to-end Record-to-Report activities within a global multinational service center. You will drive month-end close, balance sheet governance, and cross-functional collaboration across Finance and IT to enable operational excellence.

The role requires a CPA/ACCA or equivalent, strong IFRS/US GAAP knowledge, and proven leadership in a shared services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Significant progressive experience in accounting, audit, and finance with leadership responsibility in R2R or accounting operations.
• Experience managing month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support in a shared services environment.
• Experience building or scaling a service center and working in a global multinational setting.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP, internal controls, and corporate compliance; strong ERP and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Record-to-Report activities and ensure timely, complete financial reporting.
• Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close with strong governance and timelines.
• Drive balance sheet reconciliations, issue resolution, and governance of financial records.
• Coordinate audit support with internal/external auditors and address audit observations.
• Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to lead system implementations and process improvements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred

Leadership experience in Record-to-Report or accounting operations

Strong IFRS and/or US GAAP knowledge

ERP systems proficiency and advanced Excel skills
