Job summary

A leading industrial company in Central Visayas is seeking a dedicated individual to operate equipment and ensure water quality. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, chemical dosing, and reporting duties. Ideal candidates should be college-level graduates in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines and possess knowledge of English, Tagalog, and Bisaya. This role offers opportunities to work beyond regular hours and requires availability for flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Preferably College Level or Graduate. (Mechanical/Electrical)
• Willing to work beyond regular hours including holidays.
• Can Speak, write and understand English, Tagalog and Bisaya.
• Basic knowledge of Computer especially MS Office.
• Preference at least have a personal motorcycle/vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Consistently reports on duty as per approved shift schedules.
• Delivers required volume of the assigned plants.
• Ensures water quality are consistently met.
• Starts up, operates, maintains and shuts down equipment as per standard operating procedures.
• Collects samples and conducts analysis of water quality.
• Calibrates pH and TDS meters and records in logbook.
• Conducts reading of gauges and meters.
• Checks tanks water levels, and condition of pumps and motors.
• Conducts chemical mixing and dosing.
• Conducts scheduled backwashing of filters.
• Charges bag filters as needed, washes and recycles bag filters.
• Inventories consumption and stocks of chemical, reagents, bag filters.
• Requests replenishment of stocks.
• Repairs minor leaks, conducts surface preparation, and repaints as needed.
• Conducts preventive maintenance activities as per schedules.

• Ensures water quality are consistently meet.
• Starts up, operates, maintains and shutdowns equipment as per standard operating procedures.
• Collects samples and conducts analysis of water quality ( pH , TDS , Residual Chlorine , etc. ) as per scheduled frequency within the shift.
• Calibrates pH and TDS meters and records in logbook.
• Conducts reading of gauges and meters as per scheduled frequency within the shift.
• Check tanks water levels, condition of pumps and motors , dosing system and containers , electrical controls , etc.
• Conduct chemical mixing and dosing , TDS per vessel , etc.
• Conducts scheduled backwashing of filters.
• Charges bag filters as needed , washes and recycles bag filters as applicable.
• Inventories consumption and stocks of chemical , reagents, bag filters , comsumables , etc. and requests for replenishment of stocks.
• Repairs minor leaks , conduct surface preparation and repaints as needed.
• Conducts preventive maintenance activities as per preventive maintenance schedules.
