Job summary

Dexcom is seeking a motivated Software Development Lead to establish and grow a new R&D software center in Bengaluru. You will guide software product development and test automation, building a high-performing team and delivering mobile apps, cloud platforms, and related tooling.

You will lead engineering, collaborate with product, QA, regulatory, and cybersecurity, and drive best practices, architecture decisions, and on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of software development experience with complex products.
• 3+ years of people management leading software engineers.
• Experience delivering software through the full lifecycle and from design to maintenance.
• Strong architectural, testing, and quality practices; cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and mentor a software engineering team delivering mobile and cloud software solutions.
• Establish and communicate team priorities and execution plans aligned with product goals.
• Partner with Product Management, Quality, Regulatory, and other stakeholders to define requirements and timelines.
• Drive project planning, risk management, and execution across software initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.
