Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Quantity Surveyor or similar professional to join the team in the Philippines. The role focuses on cost estimation, take-offs, tendering, contract administration, and managing variations to protect project margins.

Responsibilities include preparing Bills of Quantities, cost estimates, and detailed quotations for both supply-only and supply-and-install projects. The position requires a diploma in Quantity Surveying orConstruction Management and at least one year

• At least a Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, costing and measurement.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation, Take-Offs & Tendering: Prepare accurate quantity take-offs from drawings and CAD/Revit models; compile Bills of Quantities and cost estimates for supply-only and supply-and-install projects.
• Contract Administration & Financial Management: Prepare monthly progress claims, valuations, and final accounts; manage variation orders and negotiate with main contractors and PMCs; oversee subcontractor and supplier payments.
• Site Cost Control & Procurement Support: Establish baseline project cost budgets; coordinate with logistics to plan procurement schedules and avoid overstock or delays.

Key Responsibilities & Job Scope

1. Cost Estimation, Take-Offs & Tendering

Plan & Elevation Take-Offs: Perform accurate quantity take-offs from architectural layout drawings, elevations, CAD/Revit models, and acoustic spatial schedules.

BQ & Quotation Compilation: Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, and commercial quotations for supply-only (wholesale) and supply-and-install projects.

Material Yield & Wastage Analysis: Calculate precise panel yield requirements for standard PET sheet sizes (1220 mm × 2440 mm), factoring in CNC kerf margins, pattern-repeats, V-grooving losses, and structural mounting frameworks.

2. Contract Administration & Financial Management

Progress Claims & Valuations: Prepare, submit, and negotiate monthly progress claims, milestone billing, and final account settlements with main contractors and project management consultants (PMCs).

Variation Order (VO) Management: Identify, track, and cost site variations, drawing amendments, or scope changes promptly to defend project margins.

Sub-Contractor & Supply Chain Management: Negotiate rates with raw material suppliers, freight forwarders, and specialist installation sub-contractors; evaluate sub-contractor claims and certify payment responses.

3. Site Cost Control & Procurement Support

Project Budgeting: Establish baseline project cost budgets upon tender award and monitor actual expenditure against targets.

Material Procurement Schedules: Coordinate with logistics and warehouse management to place accurate factory orders, avoiding over-stocking or project delay penalties (Liquidated Damages).

Requirements：
