Job summary

Elitez Pte Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to handle measurement, BOQ preparation, tendering, and contract administration on diverse construction projects.

You will review drawings and contracts, analyse quotations, manage tender activities, and coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate has relevant qualifications and strong numerical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, BOQ, tendering, pricing, and contract administration.
• Good knowledge of construction contracts, specifications, and contractual procedures.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Read/interpret drawings and quantities; perform accurate quantity measurements.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documentation.
• Review tender and contract documents and contractual terms.
• Analyze quotations, prices, and rates, including rate build-ups.
• Perform contract administration: valuations, variations, and submissions.
• Manage tender activities for procurement of new projects.
• Monitor tasks and contractual obligations within timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Support other business activities of the holding company.
• Participate in company activities and events.
• Undertake other duties in line with business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and related documents, and carry out accurate quantity measurements.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and other necessary tender documentation.
• Review and understand tender and contract documents, specifications, and contractual terms.
• Analyse quotations, prices, and rates, including rate build-ups and project pricing.
• Perform contract administration, including payment valuations, variation claims, and related contractual submissions.
• Manage and coordinate tender activities required for the procurement of new projects.
• Monitor and complete assigned tasks and contractual obligations within stipulated timelines and project requirements.
• Work independently and collaboratively with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Support other business activities and projects undertaken by the holding company, where required.
• Participate in company activities, including corporate, team-building, and community or charity events.
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities reasonably assigned in connection with the company's business objectives.
