Job summary

Concepcion Midea Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the QA department in reducing FCR, replacements, and warranty costs by mitigating quality issues in the market. You will gather and monitor CAPA data and implement corrective actions under MIB guidance.

The role requires BS Engineering, hands-on quality monitoring, and strong analytical and communication skills in Filipino and English. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a Quality/Manufacturing focus.
• Experience as a Quality Engineer including corrective actions.
• Knowledge of 7 QC tools and problem-solving methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Sample products to verify conformance to specifications and initiate corrective action.
• Review assemblies for proper, complete installation of specialist parts equipment.
• Compile management reports on quality performance and CAPA status.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances.
• Collect and analyze quality data to identify countermeasures.
• Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare reports communicating quality outcomes.
• Monitor new and existing models to mitigate quality issues.
• Perform other related quality activities as needed.

About the role

To support Quality Assurance Department to meet overall reduction of FCR(Failure Call Rate), Replacement and Warranty Cost by mitigating Quality issues in the market thru accurate data gathering and monitoring of CAPA(Corrective Action & Preventive Action) as provided by MIB for implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Sampling products or services to determine whether they meet specifications and quality standards and initiating corrective action if necessary
• Checking details of assemblies to ensure specialist parts equipment's are installed properly, correct, and complete
• Compiling reports for relevant management groups
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
• Collect and compile statistical quality data for analysis and countermeasure
• Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions
• Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
• Monitor new Models and Existing Models in the after market to mitigate Quality issue
• Perform other related activities from time to time
