Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a quality control associate for our manufacturing line in the Philippines.

You will follow SOPs, perform in-line audits, review disposition of lots with quality issues, and support product evaluations and machine buy-offs. The role requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of manufacturing experience (semiconductor preferred), ability to handle manual work up to 12 hours, and no travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical courses are a plus.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably semiconductor.
• Ability to perform manual work and extend up to 12 hours as needed.
• No travel required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs, 5S practices, safety requirements, and company policies.
• Review and execute disposition of lots with quality issues.
• Conduct in-line audits and verify corrective actions from 8D reports.
• Prepare and maintain quality reports, including reporting non-conforming lots.
• Support product evaluations, machine buy-offs, and other quality-related activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
