Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in Laguna, Philippines, is seeking a Quality Assurance associate to ensure compliance with SOPs, 5S, and safety standards.

The role focuses on disposition of lots with quality issues and conducting inline audits to verify corrective actions from 8D reports. The ideal candidate will have at least a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year in manufacturing, preferably in semiconductors.

Qualifications

• At least a High School Diploma, Vocational, or College Level; technical courses are an advantage.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing industry, preferably semiconductor company.

Responsibilities

• Follow all applicable SOPs, 5S practices, safety requirements, and company policies.
• Review and execute disposition of lots with quality issues.
• Conduct in-line audits and verify the implementation of corrective actions from 8D reports.
• Prepare and maintain quality reports, including reporting non-conforming lots.
• Support product evaluations, machine buy-offs, and other quality-related activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor

Physical Abilities

Able to handle manual work and extend up to 12 hours as occasionally needed. Can handle prolong sitting and/or standing depending on the assigned station.
