Job summary

Hexagon Shared Services Inc. seeks a QA/QC Officer to establish, implement, monitor, and maintain the quality management system and food safety programs within the cold storage facility in Balagtas, Bulacan.

This role ensures compliance with HACCP and GMP standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications. The incumbent will be responsible for inspections, audits, CAPAs, training, and thorough documentation to safeguard product integrity and uphold the company’s reputation for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in a Quality Assurance or Food Safety role, preferably in food industry, cold storage, warehousing, or manufacturing handling food products.
• HACCP certification is highly preferred and often mandatory.
• GMP certification or training is a strong advantage.
• Internal auditing or quality management systems certifications are a plus.
• Experience implementing and maintaining HACCP and GMP systems.
• Familiarity with Philippine food safety regulations (FDA, BFAR).
• Incumbent will be assigned in Balagtas, Bulacan.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, monitor, and maintain the QMS and food safety programs.
• Conduct regular inspections of incoming goods for integrity, temperature, packaging, and specs.
• Monitor CCPs and critical limits across the cold chain.
• Perform internal audits and prepare for external audits.
• Investigate quality incidents and implement CAPA.
• Coordinate hold/quarantine and recalls as needed.
• Deliver training on HACCP, GMP, hygiene, and cross-contamination prevention.
• Generate quality reports, non-conformance reports, and KPI dashboards.
