Taylor & Francis in Bengaluru is seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer with strong automation expertise across UI, API, backend and performance testing. You will build scalable test suites using Playwright and TypeScript and advocate for quality early in the development lifecycle.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, mentor engineers on testing best practices, and drive continuous improvement of automation coverage and framework stability in a fast‑paced enterprise SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in Quality Engineering with strong test automation.
• Experience designing scalable automation frameworks.
• Experience in API automation and backend testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools (e.g., Claude).
• Strong debugging and RCA skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for UI, API, backend, and integration testing.
• Advocate for Shift-Left quality across the SDLC in collaboration with engineers and product teams.
• Participate in test strategy, planning, risk assessment, and release validation.
• Validate REST APIs, databases, and microservices via automated and manual testing.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines with quality gates.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
