Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management in Bulacan, Philippines, is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager for garment operations. You will lead the QC team, oversee inspections from start-up to final, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Garment Technology, Textile Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in garment quality control, with 2+ years in supervisory or managerial role.
• Knowledge of garment construction, measurements, fabrics, workmanship standards, and common defects.
• Root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the QC team and assigns inspectors based on production requirements.
• Ensures proper inspection of garments from start-up and inline production through final inspection.
• Monitors garment construction, measurements, workmanship, appearance, and packaging.
• Identifies recurring defects, conducts root‑cause analysis, and recommends corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinates with Production, QA, Merchandising, MPCD, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Approves, holds, or rejects finished goods based on established quality standards.
• Monitors the implementation of corrective actions and quality improvement measures.
• Prepares and submits quality reports and updates to Management.
• Ensures that production and shipment priorities are completed without compromising product quality.

• Knowledgeable in root-cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions.
