Job Description
We are a growing garment manufacturing company seeking an experienced and results-oriented Quality Control (QC) Manager to lead our quality team and ensure that our products consistently meet company standards, customer specifications, and industry requirements.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in garment manufacturing, quality management, and production processes. This role requires a proactive leader who can build effective quality systems, prevent quality issues before they occur, and drive continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- -Lead and manage the Quality Control team to ensure consistent implementation of quality standards throughout the production process.
- -Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures, inspection standards, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- -Oversee quality inspections from incoming materials through in-line, end-line, final inspection, packing, and shipment.
- -Monitor production processes to identify quality risks and implement preventive and corrective actions.
- -Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.
- -Work closely with Production, Technical, Merchandising, Planning, and other departments to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
- -Ensure compliance with customer specifications, company standards, and applicable industry requirements.
- -Analyze quality performance data and prepare reports with recommendations for continuous improvement.
- -Lead internal quality audits and support customer audits and factory compliance requirements.
- -Train, mentor, and develop QC personnel to strengthen technical competence, accountability, and team performance.
- -Drive initiatives that reduce defects, improve efficiency, minimize rework, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- -Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications
- -Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Garment Technology, Industrial Technology, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
- -At least 5 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in the garment or apparel manufacturing industry.
- -Strong knowledge of garment construction, sewing operations, fabric inspection, finishing processes, and quality control systems.
- -Familiarity with garment production workflows, including cutting, sewing, finishing, packing, and shipment.
- -Experience implementing quality improvement initiatives and preventive quality systems.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
- -Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- -Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- -Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- -Experience working with international garment buyers and customer quality requirements.
- -Knowledge of AQL standards, in-line inspection, final inspection, and garment quality management systems.
- -Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
- -Proven track record of reducing defects, improving process efficiency, and strengthening quality systems.
