Qualifications

• Experience in poultry/food processing is an advantage.
• Knowledge of GMP, SSOP, HACCP and food safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with production teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products meet Customer Product Standards and Specifications.
• Monitor critical control points and conduct daily monitoring forms.
• Enforce GMP, SSOP, HACCP, QMS, and environmental, safety & health policies; maintain sanitation.
• Identify deviations and initiate corrective actions.
• Assist in proper product segregation, tagging, and documentation of non-conforming products.
• Ensure SAP controls, inventory and variance management.

SMC-IFSI is engaged in the management, operation, and maintenance of farms, hatcheries, slaughterhouses, fishpond, storage and various facilities and equipment for breeding, hatching, raising, growing, production, slaughter and / or processing of poultry. Fowls, hogs, livestock and other kinds of animals and foodstuffs and other activities allied or incidental thereto such as but not limited to animal feeds, nutrition and healthcare.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

• Graduate of any 4year course
• Bachelor's degree in food technology, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or nay related field is preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment
• Experience in Poultry processing is an advantage
• Knowledge in Quality and Food Safety Management System, GMP, SSOP, and HACCP
• Strong attention to details with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Presentation.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with production teams and promote a strong culture of quality and food safety.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all products meet established Customer Product Standards and Specifications before release. You will inspect, monitor, and evaluate materials and finished products to identify defects or deviations, and ensure full compliance with Food Safety and Quality standards in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure Customer Product Standards and Specifications are strictly implemented in operations. Conduct Pre-Operations, In-Process, and post-operations monitoring and complete required daily monitoring forms
• Monitor critical control points such as: Room Temperature, Product Internal Temperature, Chlorine Concentration, and Foreign Object detection
• Ensure implementation of GMP, SSOP, HACCP, QMS, and Corporate Environmental, Safety & Health Policies. Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and sanitation of production facilities, WWTP, and rendering plants
• Identify deviations and initiate immediate corrective actions
• Support proper product segregation, tagging, and documentation of non-conforming products
• Ensure compliance with SAP controls, inventory, and variance management
• Undertake special projects, technical studies, and other duties as assigned
• Demonstrate commitment to company rules, safety, and continuous improvement
