Responsibilities

• Prepare QA/QC reports documenting inspection results and corrective actions.
• Maintain records of inspections, tests, and approvals.
• Provide progress reports to management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
• Coordinate with external QA entities and regulators as needed.
• Conduct training sessions on QA/QC procedures and best practices.

Education

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control:

• Conduct inspections and assessments of construction activities to verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards.

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and technical submittals to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Perform material testing and verification to confirm suitability and quality.

Quality Assurance:

• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures and protocols to maintain consistent quality across all phases of the project.

• Monitor implementation of QA/QC plans by project teams and subcontractors.

• Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to QA/QC requirements.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare detailed QA/QC reports documenting inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions taken.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and approvals.

• Provide regular progress reports to project management and stakeholders.

Collaboration and Coordination:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.

• Participate in project meetings to provide QA/QC input and updates.

• Coordinate with external quality assurance entities and regulatory agencies as necessary.

Training and Development:

• Conduct training sessions for construction teams on QA/QC procedures, standards, and best practices.

• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

• Ensure that all QA/QC activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and requirements.

• Support and promote a safe working environment through adherence to HSE policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.

• Proven experience in QA/QC roles within the construction industry.

• In‑depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality standards.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Certification in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma) is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Work primarily takes place on construction sites, requiring outdoor work and exposure to various weather conditions.
