Job summary

Sumi Philippines Wiring Systems Corporation in Hermosa, Bataan, is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead the QA team, oversee inspections, and ensure products meet stringent standards and regulatory requirements.

You will develop procedures, implement CAPA, collaborate with production and logistics, maintain quality records, and report findings to senior management as part of our drive toward continuous improvement in wiring systems manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 3–5 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage quality assurance personnel, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of wiring systems products at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and documentation systems
• Identify defects, non-conformities, and areas for improvement, and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and optimise manufacturing processes
• Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and audit findings
• Prepare quality reports and present findings to senior management
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and contribute to the development of quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders regarding quality concerns and product performance

About the role

Sumi Philippines Wiring Systems Corporation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our quality assurance and control team. This is a full-time position based in our facility in Hermosa, Bataan. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing quality control operations, ensuring that all products meet our rigorous quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will lead a team of quality assurance personnel, implement quality improvement initiatives, and work closely with manufacturing and logistics teams to maintain excellence across our wiring systems production. This position is integral to our commitment to delivering high-quality products to our customers and upholding our reputation within the manufacturing and transport sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage quality assurance personnel, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance and control within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive, electrical, or wiring systems industry
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems.

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and patterns in quality data
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different departments
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities
