Job summary

Gardenia Bakeries Phils., Inc. in Cebu, Philippines seeks a QA Staff to support quality control, quality assurance, and line inspections with laboratory analyses throughout the production cycle.

Responsibilities include inspecting incoming materials, performing in-line checks from ingredients to finished products, and conducting batch tests. Candidates should have knowledge of ISO, HACCP, HALAL, GMP and related SOPs, with strong analytical and planning skills; fresh graduates are welcome to

Qualifications

• Graduate with a degree in BS Food Technology, Biology, Chemistry or Food Microbiology.
• Knowledgeable with ISO, HACCP, HALAL, GMP and SOP principles.
• Exposure to laboratory testing and in-line monitoring.
• Strong analytical and planning skills.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Quality control and quality assurance for products and processes.

Job description

The QA Staff is responsible for the following:

• Quality control
• Quality assurance
• Line inspection and laboratory analyses

• Performs inspection of all incoming raw materials and packaging materials, conduct in-line inspection from ingredients preparation to finished products
• Performs finished product analysis and testing, conduct audits on all areas of the process, and prepare a report for each assigned task
• Conducts batch-test prior usage of materials at production

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Food Technology, Biology, Chemistry or Food Microbiology
• Knowledgeable and with a better understanding of ISO, HACCP, HALAL, GMP, SOP and its principle
• Has exposure in laboratory testing and in-line monitoring
• Strong analytical and planning skills
• Open for fresh graduates
