Job summary

Gardenia Bakeries (Philippines), Inc. is seeking a QA Staff to uphold product quality from raw materials to finished goods.

You will participate in quality control and quality assurance, perform line inspections and laboratory analyses, and document results to support continuous improvement. Responsibilities include inspecting incoming materials, monitoring in-line processes from preparation to packaging, performing batch tests prior to use, and conducting audits with clear reports.

Qualifications

• BS Food Technology, Biology, Chemistry or Food Microbiology degree.
• Knowledgeable with ISO, HACCP, HALAL, GMP, SOP principles.
• Exposure to laboratory testing and in-line monitoring.
• Strong analytical and planning skills; open for fresh graduates.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control and quality assurance for products.
• Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging materials; monitor in-line processing.
• Perform finished product analysis, audits, and report findings.
• Conduct batch-testing prior to material usage in production.
• Coordinate with production to ensure compliance with standards.

Job description

The QA Staff is responsible for the following:

• Quality control
• Quality assurance
• Line inspection and laboratory analyses

• Performs inspection of all incoming raw materials and packaging materials, conduct in-line inspection from ingredients preparation to finished products
• Performs finished product analysis and testing, conduct audits on all areas of the process, and prepare a report for each assigned task
• Conducts batch-test prior usage of materials at production

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Food Technology, Biology, Chemistry or Food Microbiology
• Knowledgeable and with a better understanding of ISO, HACCP, HALAL, GMP, SOP and its principle
• Has exposure in laboratory testing and in-line monitoring
• Strong analytical and planning skills
• Open for fresh graduates
