Job summary

Frontken Philippines Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to ensure quality across Mechanical, Electrical, Piping, Structural, Painting and Fabrication/Welding disciplines.

You will develop and manage ITPs, review documentation, and support project delivery with rigorous quality control. Responsibilities

• Accountable for quality across Mechanical, Electrical, Piping, Structural, Painting and Fabrication/Welding disciplines.
• Maintain QA/QC documents: certificates, calibration, inspection results, non-conformance reports and shop instructions.
• Prepare Inspection Test Plans (ITP) for all incoming shop projects.
• Review all quality documentation before client submission.
• Witness electrical tests, hydro-testing and piping inspections.
• Familiar with international standards for Mechanical, Electrical, Fabrication/Welding and Painting works.
• Develop standards for inspections and tests, oversee testing methods and uphold high quality.
• Review incoming materials/equipment for compliance and coordinate with procurement for quality materials.
• Coordinate with Shop and Onsite Engineers to prepare ITP.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the quality and quality of every activity, precise knowledge of all aspects of engineering relating to Mechanical, Electrical, Piping, Structural, Painting and Fabrication/Welding discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary processes
• Responsible for QA/QC documents of the complete projects, including certificates, calibration, inspection test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and shop instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, and other important QA/QC documents
• Responsible for the preparation of Inspection Test Plan (ITP) for all incoming shop projects at all discipline
• Review of all quality documentation prior to submission to client
• Witnessing of Electrical test for motors, hydro-testing of static equipment and Piping
• Familiar in using different international standards relating to Mechanical, Electrical, Fabrication/Welding and Painting works
• Develop and determine all standards to perform inspections and tests on all procedures, oversee all testing methods, and maintain high-quality standards for all processes
• Review the quality of all incoming materials/equipment at the shop, ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality, and collaborate with the department for all material procurement and quality materials
• Coordinate with the Shop and Onsite Engineers with the activity and projects they are handling for the preparation of ITP
• Responsible for the Inspection on incoming equipment’s for repair up to its delivery

Working Conditions:

• Work Environment: Primarily office-based with occasional site visits depending on project needs.
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, with the potential for occasional overtime or weekend work based on project deadlines.
• Health & Safety: Strict adherence to company health, safety, and environmental guidelines while on-site or during inspections. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.
