Job summary

HR Primo Management Services seeks a Branch Quality Assurance Officer in Cavite to conduct branch audits, verify jewelry, gadget, and forex appraisals, and ensure SOP compliance.

The role covers cash handling, inventory, security protocols, and reporting with corrective actions; travel is required for fieldwork and to support multiple branches within the pawnshop industry.

Qualifications

  • College level or graduate in any related course
  • At least 2 years of experience in pawnshop branch operations, auditing, quality assurance, compliance, or related functions
  • Exposure to pawnshop operations, including jewelry and gadget appraisal, forex transactions, branch audits, and compliance reviews
  • Knowledge in pawnshop operations, especially jewelry, gadget, and forex appraisal processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • High integrity, ethical judgment, and objectivity
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills
  • Willing to travel and perform fieldwork assignments
  • Able to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and compliance

Responsibilities

  • Conduct branch compliance audits aligned with BSP regulations, internal policies, and applicable government requirements
  • Perform physical and digital verification of jewelry, gadget, and forex appraisals to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Assess pawnshop branch operations, including COH validation for accuracy and proper accounting
  • Check furniture, fixtures, and equipment inventory, condition, and utilization
  • Ensure strict SOP compliance and security protocols
  • Document audit findings and prepare reports with corrective actions
  • Handle special audit tasks like vault stock turnover and vault combo changes
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of branch records and receipts
  • Maintain integrity and transparency in all audit activities
  • Participate in training related to pawnshop appraisal systems, SOPs, POS tools, and audit processes
  • Maintain company-issued tools and equipment in working condition
  • Prepare weekly audit plans based on branch coverage
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor

The Branch Quality Assurance Officer conducts regular physical and digital audits across pawnshop branches, verifies appraisal accuracy for jewelry, gadgets, and forex transactions, and ensures proper implementation of company policies and procedures. The role also evaluates key operational areas such as cash handling, inventory, equipment, and SOP compliance while recommending process improvements to strengthen branch performance and compliance.

This position is within the pawnshop industry; therefore, candidates with direct experience in pawnshop operations, auditing, appraisal, or branch compliance may be particularly well-suited for the role.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct branch compliance audits aligned with BSP regulations, internal policies, and applicable government requirements
  • Perform physical and digital verification of jewelry, gadget, and forex appraisals to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Assess pawnshop branch operations, including:
  • Cash on Hand (COH) validation for accuracy and proper accounting
  • Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FFE) inventory, condition, and utilization checks
  • Strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Ensure proper implementation of security protocols specific to pawnshop operations
  • Document audit findings and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive action recommendations
  • Handle special audit tasks such as vault stock turnover and vault combination changes when required
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of branch records, books, and official receipts
  • Maintain integrity, transparency, and proper documentation in all audit activities
  • Participate in training related to pawnshop appraisal systems, SOPs, POS tools, and audit processes
  • Maintain company-issued tools and equipment in proper working condition
  • Prepare weekly audit plans based on assigned branch coverage and schedules
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor
