Job summary

Prima Plastic Manufacturing Corporation is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA and QC, ensure product quality and food safety, and drive continuous improvement across the flexible packaging production line in Bulacan.

You will steward compliance with FSSC 22000, GMP, HACCP, and customer audits, implement CAPA, monitor materials to finished goods, and collaborate with production to reduce defects and waste. A strong leadership and documentation focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in QA/QC, with supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in flexible packaging, plastics, printing, or food-packaging manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FSSC 22000, GMP, HACCP, CAPA and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the company's QA and QC functions.
• Establish, implement, and continuously improve quality policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure compliance with FSSC 22000, GMP, food safety, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and improve Quality and Food Safety Management Systems, prepare for audits.
• Monitor quality from incoming raw materials to finished goods.
• Establish inspection, testing, sampling, and product release procedures.
• Investigate customer complaints, product defects, and non-conformities.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Work closely with Production to reduce defects, rejects, waste, and recurring quality problems.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead and strengthen our Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems in a flexible packaging manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, food safety, regulatory compliance, customer requirements, and consistent implementation of quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities

About you

• Experience handling certification and customer audits
• Strong understanding of manufacturing quality control and process improvement
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Firm, systematic, detail-oriented, and able to work closely with Production and Management
