We’re Hiring: Quality Assurance Manager
Are you an experienced Quality Assurance leader with a passion for continuous improvement, process excellence, and operational efficiency?
We are seeking a dynamic Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and drive our quality management strategy, laboratory operations, and integrated management systems within a large-scale manufacturing environment.
As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will plan, implement, and manage all QA and QC activities to ensure raw materials, in-process streams, and finished products meet strict technical specifications at optimum cost. You will serve as a champion for total quality, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus across the organization.
Quality Assurance & Operational Control
- Translate plant-wide strategic goals into actionable quality plans and programs.
- Approve operating policies and procedures for effective quality control across production processes and finished product lines.
- Approve feedstock formulations, fuel/energy optimization strategies, and key operational quality targets to drive high efficiency.
- Analyze quality performance trends, investigate standard deviations, and collaborate with Production and Process Engineering teams on root-cause analysis and Corrective and Preventive Actions.
- Oversee all sampling, measurement, and testing protocols across the production lifecyccle.
- Ensure precise calibration, maintenance, and reliability of testing equipment and lab results.
- Maintain data integrity within the Laboratory Information Management System and approve test certificates.
Compliance & Systems (IMS / ISO)
- Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS) and ISO/IEC laboratory standards.
- Act as the primary liaison with government certifying bodies and external agencies regarding quality, environmental, and health & safety compliance.
- Ensure all QA-related regulatory permits and certifications are maintained on schedule.
- Lead, coach, and develop the QA/QC team through clear goal setting, performance management, and professional development plans.
- Manage department budgeting, monitor material and resource consumption, and endorse CAPEX projects.
- Spearhead cost-reduction programs and process optimization initiatives in collaboration with plant leadership.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
- Licensure: Registered Chemical Engineer or Registered Chemist
- Experience: Minimumof 5 years of experience in continuous process or heavy industrial manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Technical & Functional Skills:
- Strong expertise in Continuous Process Manufacturing & Quality Control
- Deep knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Hands-on experience with ISO/IEC 17025 and Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
Proven track record in problem-solving, cost optimization, and process innovation.
