Job summary

MicroSourcing in the Philippines is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to oversee QA across multiple projects within Customer Success. This role is hybrid: 3 days work from home and 2 days on site at GCS Corporate Tower, Taguig, with a night shift.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in software QA, leadership experience, and a mindset toward AI and automation. You will mentor teams, define testing strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Software Quality Assurance, including both manual and automated testing.
• Proven experience leading QA teams and managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Expertise in functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Proficiency in XML, HTML, JavaScript, VB, C#, and Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all QA activities across multiple projects within Customer Success.
• Plan and manage QA activities including prioritization, workload balancing, and team utilization.
• Define and execute QA strategies, testing approaches, and test plans for all project levels.
• Mentor QA team members and foster accountability and continuous learning.

Your Role

As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will:

• Oversee and coordinate all quality assurance activities across multiple projects within the Customer Success organization.
• Plan and manage QA activities, including task prioritization, workload balancing, and ensuring optimal team utilization.
• Define and execute QA strategies, testing approaches, and comprehensive test plans for all levels of project complexity.
• Mentor and develop QA team members, providing day-to-day guidance and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
• Lead defect triage sessions, providing root cause analysis and facilitating resolution in coordination with cross-functional teams.

• Experience Requirements
• The role is not strictly 10 yrs but would be a BIG plus if they have collective 10 yrs but they are accepting at least 5–10 years of experience.
• The team is evaluating the candidate’s overall/collective experience rather than focusing solely on the number of years.
• US healthcare experience is a strong advantage as it is considered a niche skill set and may command a higher level of expertise.
• However, direct US healthcare experience is not mandatory. Candidates from other industries may still be considered if they possess the required leadership, AI, automation, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Leadership / Lead Experience
• Lead-level experience is important/required for the position.
• The team is looking for candidates who have demonstrated actual leadership, ownership, and the ability to drive initiatives or projects.
• The role is not intended for someone who is purely an individual contributor without leadership exposure.

Non-negotiables

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Software Quality Assurance, including both manual and automated testing.
• Proven experience leading QA teams and managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Expertise in functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Proficiency in XML, HTML, JavaScript, VB, C#, and Python scripting.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Certifications: ISTQB, CAST, SMSQ, or AWS Cloud Practitioner.
• Prior experience in the Healthcare IT industry.
• Experience with automation and performance testing tools.
• Familiarity with QA processes, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and test tools such as Jira, Selenium, Postman, or ALM.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
