Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead in a hybrid role (Night Shift) at BGC, Taguig. You will define QA strategies, mentor a multi-tiered QA team, and oversee test planning, automation, and governance for healthcare claims projects in the US market.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Delivery to ensure high-quality releases, leverage Oracle SQL and API testing, and drive KPIs and continuous improvements. A strong focus on SDLC, tools, and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Software QA spanning manual, automated, functional, regression, integration and performance testing.
• Healthcare claims & adjudication expertise in US systems and workflows.
• QA team leadership in multi-project environments with coaching and workload assignment.
• Technical database validations using Oracle SQL and API testing (Postman).
• SDLC & QA tool proficiency in Agile and Waterfall frameworks (Jira, TestRail, ALM).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute project-level QA strategies; manage resources across concurrent client releases; mentor QA Analysts.
• Review test plans; validate functional and regression suites; drive defect triage; govern test automation frameworks.
• Validate end-to-end US healthcare claims processing, adjudication workflows, API integrations, and DB records.
• Establish QA standards, monitor defect trends, report KPIs, drive continuous process improvements for release quality.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Business Analysis, and Delivery leads to refine requirements and mitigate risks.
• Troubleshoot test environments on Windows; perform root-cause analysis for high-priority defects.

Your Role:

As an Quality Assurance Lead, you will:

• QA Strategy & Leadership: Define and execute project-level QA strategies, manage resource allocation across concurrent client releases, and lead/mentor a multi-tiered team of QA Analysts.
• Test Planning & Automation Oversight: Review comprehensive test plans, validate functional and regression test suites, drive defect triage sessions, and govern test automation frameworks.
• Healthcare Claims & Integration Testing: Validate end-to-end US healthcare claims processing, adjudication workflows, API integrations, and database records using Oracle/SQL queries.
• Quality Governance & Metrics: Establish QA standards, monitor defect trends, report KPIs to leadership, and drive continuous process improvements to boost release quality.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Software Engineering, Business Analysis, and Delivery leads to refine functional requirements and mitigate release risks early in the SDLC.
• Environment & Incident Management: Troubleshoot test environments on Windows platforms and oversee root-cause analysis for high-priority defects.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• 10+ Years QA Experience: Proven track record in Software Quality Assurance spanning manual, automated, functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Healthcare Claims & Adjudication Expertise: In-depth technical knowledge of US healthcare claims processing systems, benefit structures, and adjudication workflows.
• QA Team Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing, coaching, and assigning workloads to QA Analysts in multi-project environments.
• Technical Database & Integration Testing: Hands-on experience performing backend database validations using Oracle SQL, as well as API testing (e.g., Postman).
• SDLC & QA Tool Proficiency: Expertise in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, ALM) within Agile and Waterfall frameworks.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Practical knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Python, C#, JavaScript).
• Professional QA or Cloud Certifications (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester, CAST, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner).
• Hands-on experience with healthcare EDI data standards (e.g., 837, 835, 270/271 transaction sets).
• Experience maintaining test environments hosted on Windows platforms and configuring test data management tools.
