Job summary

SHG SERVICES INC. is seeking a Quality Assurance Head to lead the overall quality, safety, compliance, and operational integrity across the Commissary, JENTEC (3rd-party cold & dry warehouse), and store-level audits.

You will oversee end-to-end QA from raw materials receiving and production through dispatch and distribution to in-store execution while developing a high-performing QA team. The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, certifications in Food Safety, HACCP or GMP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology is required.
• Certifications in Food Safety, HACCP, or GMP preferred.
• 10–15 years of QA experience in food manufacturing, commissary, cold storage, or multi-store operations.
• Proven experience managing QA teams and leading store audits.
• Strong GMP, food safety, warehouse QA, and laboratory processes.
• Proficient in QA systems and digital reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all QA operations across Commissary, JENTEC (cold and dry warehouse), and store-level quality audits.
• Oversee daily GMP checks, product inspections, delivery verification, dispatch validation, and compliance activities.
• Lead store audit programs to ensure consistent quality, food safety, and brand standards at guest service points.
• Review and approve CPAR, CAPA, and corrective action reports for suppliers, commissary, JENTEC, and stores.
• Oversee raw material and finished goods ageing management, including near-expiry monitoring and shelf-life evaluations.
• Validate store complaints and ensure timely investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Manage water & ice testing, micro analysis, and product SLE/BTR samples.
• Supervise pest control, sanitation, and chemical management compliance with 3rd-party providers.
• Lead and develop the QA team—QA Assistant Managers, Supervisors, Specialists, and Utilities—building a strong talent pipeline and succession readiness.
• Use QA data, audit findings, and store feedback to drive risk identification and business decision-making.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology
• Certifications in Food Safety, HACCP, or GMP preferred
• 10–15 years of experience in Quality Assurance within food manufacturing, commissary, cold storage, and/or multi-store retail/restaurant operations
• Proven experience managing QA teams, leading store audits, and cross-functional coordination
• Strong background in GMP, food safety, warehouse QA, and laboratory processes
• Strong analytical, investigative, and root-cause analysis skills
• Proficient in QA systems, digital reporting tools, RMS, and Microsoft platforms
