Job summary

The Fruit Garden is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to oversee food safety in production, ensuring processes align with HACCP targets and future accreditation goals.

The role includes monitoring all stages from purchasing materials to sanitation, implementing GMP and halal standards, managing retention samples, and training staff on HACCP requirements while assisting new product development.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control in food manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and halal requirements is expected.
• Ability to train staff and document processes.
• Experience with retention samples and product testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Put in place and monitor control of all processes in line with HACCP requirements, including purchasing of raw materials, receiving, storage, processing, packing, and sanitation verification.
• Implement strict HACCP procedures and related accreditation standards (GMP, halal).
• Control and monitor retention samples; perform product test quality control.
• Train staff on HACCP requirements and related procedures.
• Assist in development of new product formulas and products; manage retention sample reporting.

The Fruit Garden is looking for his new Quality Control supervisor, responsible for the food safety of the production of the company, ensuring that all processes are being followed in line with the company future goal to achieve haccp accreditation

• Put in place and monitor good control of all processes, related to the manufactured products in line with haccp requirement, including:

  • Purchasing of raw material (includes supplier control)

  • Receiving of purchases

  • Storage

  • Food processing (production)

  • Packing and finishing

  • Sanitation verification

  • Record and filing

  • Employees monitoring on implementation of food safety

• Implement a strict control of the haccp procedures, and any other procedures linked to accreditation such as GMP and halal.

• Control and monitor the retention samples

• Perform product test quality control

• Training of the staff in relation with haccp requirement

• Assist in development of new product formulas and new products

• Management and report of retention samples
