Brief Description
QA Analyst ensures that all meat processing operations comply with food safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The role involves daily monitoring of production processes, inspection of raw and finished goods, documentation of QA data, and support in implementing GMP, HACCP, and other food safety programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
The QA Analyst should:
- 1. Monitor production quality, sanitation, and hygienic practices during processing.
- 2. Inspect and evaluate raw materials (e.g., frozen imported meat) and finished products for compliance with internal specifications.
- 3. Assist in validation and verification of GMP compliance, and traceability systems.
- 4. Perform quality check validation, temperature checks, and quality sampling during production.
- 5. Maintain accurate QA records, inspection logs, deviation reports, and hold/release documents.
- 6. Coordinate with production for real-time corrections when non-conformance is detected.
- 7. Participate in internal audits, supplier evaluations, and regulatory inspections.
- 8. Assist in employee food safety training and orientation as needed.
- 9. Report any food safety concerns immediately to QA Supervisor/Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biology, or related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in food manufacturing or meat processing QA is preferred.
- Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and relevant food safety regulations (BFAD, NMIS, FDA, etc.).
- Experience with documentation and food safety audits is an advantage.
