Job summary

The Laguna Creamery Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to uphold GMP, HACCP and Halal standards in our Laguna facility. You will conduct material testing, audits, and ensure product safety across processing lines.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant science, possess strong analytical skills, and can train staff on GMP orientation. Fresh graduates are welcome, with opportunity to grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science field (food technology/science, chemistry, microbiology, biology)
  • Fresh graduates welcome or 1–2 years in a food testing laboratory preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and regulators (GMP, HACCP, Halal)
  • Working knowledge of food safety regulations and QC methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Drive GMP, Food Safety/HACCP and Halal implementation in the facility and lines.
  • Uphold quality standards and verify processing and testing.
  • Assist in audit readiness through internal audits and regulatory/client responses.
  • Evaluate, test, and inspect incoming raw and packaging materials.
  • Conduct inline inspections, physicochemical analyses, and sensory evaluations.
  • Prepare reports and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Maintain equipment, documentation, and calibration records.
  • Provide GMP orientation and training for new staff and visitors.

I. BASIC FUNCTION
  • Drives GMP, Food Safety/HACCP and HALAL implementation in the facility, processing and filling lines.
  • Upholds set quality standards of product, processing and testing verification according to GMP and good laboratory practices.
  • Assists in audit readiness of the plant, through internal audit, audit prep, verification and response preparation of both regulatory and client
II.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conducts evaluation, testing, and inspection of incoming raw and packaging materials from suppliers, outside storages, and plant-to-plant transfer.
  • Conducts inline inspection, physicochemical analysis, and sensory evaluation of raw materials, packaging materials, semi-processed and finished products.
  • Responsible for receiving and testing new materials
  • Knowledgeable of media preparation, chemical preparation, and environmental monitoring.
  • Conducts microbiological analysis of raw materials and finished products.
  • Provides appropriate disposition based on the results of testing through physicochemical and microbiological testing and sensory evaluation before production use.
  • Conducts GMP verification audit, highlights non-conformances identified, proposes and verifies action taken.
  • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities to stakeholders.
  • Operates and ensures proper maintenance including verification activities, cleanliness, and safekeeping of office equipment, laboratory equipment and measuring devices.
  • Can write and revise technical documentation related to GMP, Halal, and HACCP.
  • Document results, evaluate versus standards, and do necessary actions for conforming and non-conforming products.
  • Can provide training on basic GMP orientation for new employees and visitors.
  • Assists in audit preparation, audit response and verifications
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
III.QUALIFICATION GUIDES
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Food technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology and other related fields.
  • Preferably 1 to 2 years in a food testing laboratory, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Good in oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
