Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a Quality Analyst for CapCut in Taguig, within Global Operations. The role focuses on supporting Trust & Safety to ensure safe and enjoyable experiences for users.

The analyst will analyze moderation quality, help define inspection standards, and participate in policy clarification and calibration sessions, delivering high-quality reports and collaborating with Policy Enforcement and Content Ops.

Qualifications

• 2 years of working experience in Content Safety and at least 1 year in QA.
• Proficiency in Tagalog and English to collaborate with global partners.
• General knowledge of ByteDance's international products.
• Understanding of generative AI, online safety and content trends.

Responsibilities

The GenAI & Emerging Products (GenAI & EP) team in the Quality Operations function is responsible for providing policy as well as quality operations support to a growing list of ByteDance Emerging/AI Products. We evaluate the overall quality of each moderation team or outsourced partners through the analysis of samples extracted from the online moderation queue or applicable quality strategy to ensure platform/app safety for a safe and enjoyable environment for our users as we play a critical role in safeguarding user experiences

• - Perform analysis of errors in platform/moderation quality and feedback to the respective team
• - Participate in the development of quality inspection standards and continuously optimize the process and system platform
• - Responsible for policy cascading, clarification, and calibration sessions to ensure an accurate understanding of the policy and operations readiness in accordance with responsible product quality delivery
• - Provide high-level and detailed reports on the Market/Site Quality Level report
• - Coordinate and work closely with Process Delivery, Policy Enforcement, Content Ops to ensure safety of product (if applicable), and other relevant stakeholders to support quality operations-related tasks

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• - 2 years of working experience in the Content Safety industry and at least 1 year of QA experience.
• - Proficiency in Tagalog and English is required to collaborate with global partners and key stakeholders based in Tagalog-speaking markets where Tagalog is a primary working language.
• - General knowledge of ByteDance's international products.
• - Good understanding of generative AI, online safety, privacy, content and market trends, including in-depth understanding of general market lifestyle content, culture and familiarity with the internet usage habits of their users.

Preferred Qualifications

• - Possession of a Bachelor's degree or higher.
