Job summary

Liwayway Marketing Corporation seeks a Quality Control Assistant Manager to drive the planning, coordination, and execution of the QC program and objectives. The candidate should have a technical background (BS in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biology, or Chemistry) and demonstrate strong integrity and reliability in managing quality

Qualifications

• College Graduate with technical/scientific background preferred.
• Solid technical know-how from education or experience.
• Good moral character and trustworthiness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess production processes to develop quality policies, procedures and specifications.
• Implement and monitor QC standards, procedures and systems to ensure consistent product quality.
• Oversee QC laboratories including raw materials receiving, chemical testing and microbiology.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with quality standards.
• Supervise QC Supervisors, Analysts and Staff to ensure high performance.
• Organize training to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Assist Quality Assurance and other departments in resolving customer complaints.
• Validate and approve release of RTD finished products.
• Perform various special projects as assigned.

About the role

The Quality Control Assistant Manager assists management on planning, coordination and execution of the Quality Control program and objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assessment of company production processes to develop quality policies, procedures and specifications

• Implement and monitor QC Standards, procedures and systems of operations to ensure consistent product quality

• Oversee the Quality Control laboratories such as Raw Materials Receiving, Chemical Testing and Microbiology

• Coordinate with other Departments to ensure continuous improvement, implementation and strict compliance of the company's quality standards

• Supervise the QC Supervisors, Analysts and Staff to ensure they perform well in their respective duties and responsibilities

• Organize training to enhance their skills and knowledge

• Assist Quality Assurance Department and other Department in resolving customer complain issues

• Validate and approve release of RTD finished products

• Perform variety of special projects as assigned

About you
