Job summary

Mundo Builders Inc. is seeking a QAQC Engineer / Architect to be site-based, ensuring construction projects meet quality requirements through detailed planning and on-site inspections.

You will review plans, prepare QAQC Plan, ITP, and inspection requests, and assist the Project Manager in maintaining registers and documentation for handover. Collaborate with the project team, issue non-conformance notices, monitor corrective actions, and ensure adherence to QAQC processes from start to client

Responsibilities

• Review all plans and specifications to identify project quality requirements.
• Prepare Project QAQC Plan, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), Inspection Request.
• Assist the Project Manager in establishing all the project’s registers and monitor updates.
• Ensure that all submittal processes stated in the QAQC Plan are being followed.
• Prepare Notice of Meeting and Agenda and Minutes of the Meeting during meetings initiated by QAQC.
• Prepare presentation on the QAQC processes and requirements during the Internal Kick-off and Subcontractor Kick-off Meeting.
• Provide and submit QAQC Weekly and Monthly Report on time.
• Conduct inspection with Construction Team, with Subcontractor and with Client to assess workmanship, material and installation quality.
• Cascade the method statement of every scope of work.
• Evaluate the construction methodology submitted by Subcontractor if in parallel with MBI’s Method Statement.
• Conduct quality orientation to newly hired workers.
• Issue Non-Conformance Notice to all non-conformities observed on site.
• Check subcontractor’s work quality to ensure that their works comply with the quality standards.
• Safekeeping of all QAQC documents up to the handover stage of the project.
• Provide communication letters to Operations and Subcontractors regarding quality concerns.
• Inspect delivered materials on site prior to use.
• Monitor issued External Non-Conformance Notice/Report. Validate the implementation of corrective actions to ensure timely resolution. Conduct follow-up inspections to verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Collaborate with QAQC Manager and Project Manager. Ensure timely submission of reports and documentations.
• Coordinate with the Operations and Subcontractors on quality issues and concerns.
• Conduct initial inspection prior to endorsement to client.
• Initiate timely handover of deliverables to client.
• Stay updated with the industry best practices, advancement and emerging technologies related to construction QAQC.
