Job summary

DATEM Incorporated is seeking a QA/QC Civil Engineer to ensure quality control across construction activities. The role involves reviewing plans, preparing ITPs, monitoring site work, and documenting QA/QC findings to support project management teams nationwide.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil Engineering with strong QA/QC experience, capable of working independently and within a team on high-profile projects.

Qualifications

• Review all plans and technical specifications.
• Assists the QA/QC Head for the preparation of ITP's, Method Statement and other QAQC deliverables.
• Conducts regular monitoring of the construction activities.
• Performs quality assurance and quality control on all works and materials through daily observation, measurement, and inspection.
• Prepares the necessary documentation as required by the Project Management Team.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans.
• Knowledge in material testing requirements and procedure.
• Ability to interpret instructions, either written, oral, diagram or schedule form
• Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Quality Auditing skills
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Review all plans and technical specifications for compliance.
• Assist QA/QC Head in preparing ITPs and QAQC deliverables.
• Monitor construction activities on site for quality control.
• Document findings through daily observations and inspections.
• Coordinate with PMT to prepare required QA/QC records.

• 5 years and above solid experience in QAQC Structural and other specialized phases of the project.

• Experience in vertical/high-rise buildings projects is a plus.
