Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical, physical, and microbiological tests on raw materials, in-process batches, and finished goods.
• Review test results and verify conformance to established specifications.
• Document analytical data, deviations, and abnormalities with accuracy and traceability.
• Calibrate laboratory instruments in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Implement QA systems, including GMP compliance, process validation, and documentation control.
• Review batch production records, test results, and supporting documents before release.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and implement CAPA.
• Conduct internal quality audits and assist with external regulatory inspections.
• Maintain complete and compliant laboratory and QA documentation.
• Generate QC/QA reports, trend analyses, and stability data summaries.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control (QC)

• Conduct chemical, physical, and microbiological tests on raw materials, in-process batches, and finished goods
• Prepare, standardize, and maintain laboratory reagents, solutions, and equipment
• Review test results and verify conformance to established specifications
• Document analytical data, deviations, and abnormalities with accuracy and traceability
• Calibrate laboratory instruments in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements

Quality Assurance (QA)

• Implement QA systems, including GMP compliance, process validation, and documentation control
• Review batch production records, test results, and supporting documents before release
• Participate in root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

• Ensure proper implementation of SOPs, quality manuals, and regulatory policies

Manufacturing Support

• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards
• Provide technical support to production teams on quality-related issues
• Assist in product development, formulation refinement, and process improvements

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain complete and compliant laboratory and QA documentation
• Generate QC/QA reports, trend analyses, and stability data summaries
• Ensure consistent and traceable data aligned with industry standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• Licensed Chemist or Chemical Technician (preferred or required depending on industry)
• At least 1–2 years experience in QC/QA within a manufacturing environment (food, pharma, cosmetics, chemical, or related)
• Knowledge of laboratory methods, GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory guidelines
• Proficient in analytical techniques (e.g., titration, spectrophotometry, pH, viscosity)
• Strong analytical thinking, accuracy, documentation discipline, and attention to detail
