Job summary

Teradyne in Lapu-Lapu City, Philippines, is seeking a qualified QA engineer to champion product excellence by crafting and executing innovative quality assurance protocols. You will analyze test logs and repair history to improve troubleshooting and ensure compliance with industry standards.

You will own complex repair cases, drive CAPA actions, and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve customer escalations.

Qualifications

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering or equivalent.
Diagnoses complex ATE failures at system and board level with data analysis.
Must have strong sense of urgency and ownership, and works with all levels.
Proficient in problem-solving and quality tools such as 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, Pareto and FMEA.
Good written and verbal communication for technical reports and findings.
Experience in audits using a process-based approach is a plus.
AI and Automation literate is a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct structured root-cause analysis and implement CAPA to avoid recurrence.
Drive quality performance by monitoring DOA, WARR, and NFF using data insights.
Analyze test logs, schematics, failure trends, and repair history to improve troubleshooting.
Develop and improve diagnostic methods, test coverage, repair processes, and documentation.
Own complex repair cases through resolution and escalation when needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely resolution of customer escalations.
Generate timely reports on status of quality performance and projects.
