About the role
We are looking for a QA Supervisor who will lead our Quality Assurance team and ensure that our corrugated box products consistently meet customer specifications, quality standards, and production requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise daily QA activities and ensure effective implementation of quality standards.
- Monitor performance throughout the corrugated box manufacturing process—from raw materials to finished products.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, product standards, and manufacturing requirements.
- Conduct and oversee inspection, testing, and verification of products and processes.
- Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, and product non-conformities.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA).
- Analyze and interpret data from inspection, WIP, Sales, and other departments to resolve quality concerns.
- Monitor quality trends, defects, and records, and recommend improvement actions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to QA staff.
- Encourage regular audit and support of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coach and develop QA inspectors and team members.
- Promote a strong quality culture and right-first-time mindset across the plant.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, preferably in the corrugated box manufacturing industry.
- At least 1–2 years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of corrugated box manufacturing processes and quality standards is an advantage.
- Familiarity with 7 QC Tools, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, SPC, and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Working experience in a manufacturing plant environment in Laguna.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, when required.
