Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, preferably in corrugated box manufacturing.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of corrugated box manufacturing processes and quality standards is an advantage.
• Familiarity with 7 QC Tools, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, SPC, and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Working experience in a manufacturing plant environment in Laguna.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily QA activities and ensure effective implementation of quality standards.
• Monitor performance throughout the corrugated box manufacturing process—from raw materials to finished products.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, product standards, and manufacturing requirements.
• Conduct and oversee inspection, testing, and verification of products and processes.
• Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, and product non-conformities.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA).
• Analyze and interpret data from inspection, WIP, Sales, and other departments to resolve quality concerns.
• Monitor quality trends, defects, and records, and recommend improvement actions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to QA staff.
• Encourage regular audit and support of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach and develop QA inspectors and team members.
• Promote a strong quality culture and right-first-time mindset across the plant.
