Job summary

JB Packaging Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure product and process conformity through quality systems, inspections, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. About the role

The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring product and process conformity through effective quality systems, inspections, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy of inspection reports, maintain complete inspection records, and assist in the preparation of inspection certificates as required.

• Perform required laboratory testing and quality verification procedures.

• Ensure proper use, maintenance, and calibration of QA inspection and testing equipment.

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems, procedures, and standards in compliance with company requirements and ISO standards.

• Monitor and analyze production and subcontractor processes to ensure consistent product quality.

• Conduct process audits, quality inspections, and evaluations across operations and subcontractors.

• Lead investigations related to defects, customer complaints, and quality deviations, ensuring effective CAPA implementation and follow-up.

• Coordinate closely with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.

• Review and analyze quality data, inspection results, and performance trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure effective control, segregation, and disposition of nonconforming products, including verification of corrective action effectiveness.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or any related field.

• Graduate of engineering course or its equivalent, preferably licensed.

• Preferably with working knowledge in the manufacturing environment as a Quality personnel.

• Experience in off-set printing and rigid box packaging will have an advantage.

• High technical and analytical skills.
